Valentia Technologies releases PKI Platform for Healthcare Messaging (Encryptum™)
Valentia Technologies today announced the release of Encryptum™, its PKI platform for integrated e-messaging in the healthcare sector.
Encryptum™ covers various messaging types including email, MMS and SOAP/XML in use within healthcare. It applies to both P2P and M2M messages.
Encryptum™ uses various symmetric and asymmetric encryption algorithms including AES (Rijndeal) & RSA.
Encryptum™ supports advanced XML- based key management and key exchange via XKMS for quick integration over standard networks. It supports all key management- related functionality, including Client and Server Registrations, Location, Key Validation and Key Revocation. Digital Signatures, including message finger printing, is also natively supported for plain messages.
A significant feature of Encryptum™ is its ease of technical implementation and use of administrative interfaces for key generation and management. Encryptum™ also incorporates a ready-made SDK for developers to quickly integrate PKI into their existing or new applications without requiring extensive knowledge of PKI protocol.
Speaking at the launch of Encryptum™ , Dr Ahmed Javad, Chief Operating Officer at Valentia, stated:

However, given the current and predicted growth in healthcare messaging, including areas such as mobile clinical messaging, the requirements for PKI in the healthcare sector are increasing exponentially.
