PRESS RELEASE

Valentia Technologies releases real-time Fleet Inventory module for its CareMonX™ EMS Suite

Valentia Technologies today announced the release of a Fleet Inventory module for its comprehensive Emergency Medical Services Suite, CareMonX™ EMS .

CareMonX™ EMS Suite is an advanced Enterprise Management System designed for the demanding requirements of modern pre-hospital emergency care. It encompasses a wide range of functionality for the operation of Emergency Medical Services, including real-time patient and incident data collection and transmission, incident reporting and management of fleet inventory and staff work schedules. At the core of the CareMonX™ EMS Suite is the CareMonX™ ePCR Module, which enables mobile electronic data capture and transmission. It is one of the most sophisticated solutions currently available, offering real-time communications between emergency services, ambulances, paramedics and hospital emergency departments over standard public cellular networks and TETRA networks.

The CareMonX™ Fleet Inventory Manager module supports comprehensive inventory management across ambulance fleets. It enables paramedics to record all items consumed or requiring service. Inventory status is automatically transmitted directly to central stores for issue/service processing and delivery. Stores managers can view the status of all fleet inventories in real-time. Based on supplies consumed, the module also provides the ability to generate inventory costings for each incident or on case-by-case basis. This functionality further supports service optimization, billing and budget management.

Speaking at the launch event, CareMonX™ Head of Development, Dr Yvonne Nolan, stated:

"The ever-increasing number of inventory items in ambulances poses a serious challenge for supplies departments. Due to the lifesaving nature of most inventory items, it is essential that they are in-stock and are usable with regard to expiry date and service lifecycle. The availability of CareMonX™ Fleet Inventory Manager means that these challenges can now be addressed in real-time, addressing a highly-important requirement for optimising pre-hospital emergency care delivery."
