CareMonX™ Care Messaging is an Outpatients Reminder & Paging System that enables Outpatients Departments (OPDs) in hospitals and clinics to send text-based appointment reminders to outpatients at predefined intervals prior to their scheduled OPD appointments. Additionally CareMonX™ Care Messaging gives outpatients a text-based option to cancel or reschedule their appointment if they are unable to attend.
As well as providing a valuable appointment reminder service, CareMonX™ Care Messaging enables OPD managers to more efficiently utilize outpatient facilities through minimizing the incidence of did-not-attends (DNAs) in advance of clinic dates, thereby allowing managers to notify alternative outpatients of available freed-up appointment times.
CareMonX™ Care Messaging also has a paging element that pages patients via text when they are sitting in the OPD queue to see their healthcare practitioner. In-queue patients can also text query the system about their place in the queue.
CareMonX™ Care Messaging can also be integrated with electronic displace boards for public messaging around the hospitals and other public places. Sophisticated billboard display manager helps central administration of multiple boards with advance message planning. System also supports billboard subscription for automated reminder service for each change on the billboard.
CareMonX™ Care Messaging includes an intuitive online browser based interface for the management of OPD and clinic diaries that can also be directly viewed by patients online via single use password subscription. CareMonX™ Care Messaging also enables healthcare practitioners to build their appointment schedules/diaries independently of patient administration systems, thereby enabling standalone SMS-based appointment scheduling, reminders and paging.
As well as SMS, CareMonX™ Care Messaging also supports unlimited two-way MMS messaging, allowing detailed instructions to be sent to patients in advance of their scheduled appointment dates.
In addition to Outpatients Departments CareMonX™ Care Messaging can play a similar role for GP practices, chronic disease management clinics and day cases.
