Valentia Technologies provides software and related services for pre-hospital and community healthcare, based principally on mobile/wireless technologies. Our international client base includes leading public and private healthcare organisations in eight countries.
Arising from continued expansion, Valentia wishes to recruit two highly-capable and exceptional Business Development Managers to join its expanding Business Development teams in Ireland and UK.
The successful candidates will be responsible for executing market and growth strategies for Valentia’s existing and planned product portfolio to healthcare services across the Irish and UK markets. They will support the expansion of the company’s sales activities in these territories and will also make a contribution to new product development.
Key Responsibilities
Inform and execute marketing and sales strategies, based on existing product portfolio
Input into product development, based upon identified or forecast market needs
Assist in building and managing sales pipeline relationships with large client organizations and public sector bodies
Manage sales channel partner relations
Identify market and sales opportunities by keeping informed of technical developments, industry trends and competitor activities
Participate in exhibitions and symposia
Experience and attributes
Proven track record of achievement in sales and business development involving enterprise-level software or other technology products
Experience of establishing and managing complex partner channels
Background in public sector sales and business development highly desirable
Healthcare, EMS services and GIS sales experience a distinct advantage
Proven business acumen underpinned by strong commercial judgment
Must be able to work on own initiative
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Nationally mobile throughout Ireland and UK
